A 6mm wide band of 925 sterling silver that has be reticulated to add texture to the surface with a black patina applied to the indentations. The raised areas are then polished to a shine so that the silver texture is visible against the black patina. To compliment the texture there is a bar of 9ct yellow gold overlapping the edges of the band.
The art of reticulation is to heat the silver to the point of melting and using a flame to move the top surface of the silver around to create bumps and dents and ripples. This process means every ring will be entirely different from one another, as it’s impossible to fully control what the silver does.
