This decorative plate was crafted using a real Philodendron Sodiroi leaf that naturally fell from the plant. Its intricate texture was pressed into buff, iron-grogged clay, with the iconic heart shape carefully cut out before shaping the piece to curve up at the top and bottom. This plate is perfect as a spoon rest, snack dish, candle base or jewellery holder. The underside of the plate is bare clay that has been sanded smooth.

Little piece of art.

This can be used as a small plate or as Jodie indicated a spoon rest or displayed it as art as I do. We've seen Jodie's interest in varigated leaves and that's what has inspired the one I've received. The brown and green colors flow together nicely and accent the white it's very nice.
