This decorative plate was crafted using a real blackcurrant bush leaf. Its intricate texture was pressed into buff, iron-grogged clay, with the iconic heart shape carefully cut out before shaping the piece to curve up at the top and bottom. This plate is perfect as a spoon rest, snack dish, candle base or jewellery holder. The underside of the plate is bare clay that has been sanded smooth.
