Hand-sculpted and painted husky dog dressed as a skeleton for halloween! Made from an almost black clay body that has been left unglazed in its matte state to give contrast to the gloss glazed “bone” detailing. This detail makes the sculpture very tactile with both smooth and rough surfaces as well as the glaze bones being slightly raised. His face details have been added with a velvet matte underglaze along with his toe beans, and the bone in his mouth is also glossy glazed. The tail is designed to be used as a ring holder, or he can just sit at your desk to keep you company.

Purchased last year’s version of Skeledog for my wife. He looks similar to this one, but with a chalk like look. The glaze is not shiny and the tail isn’t shaped like the letter O. He is so adorable. He’s sitting where we can look at him everyday. Jodie Boo is a very talented artist.
